S11 Day 1: Joyful Mysteries in Petition

Hello family and welcome to Season 11 of 54 Days of Roses. This podcast is dedicated to the miraculous 54 Day Rosary Novena where we invite our Blessed Mother to pray with us for spiritual growth and a stronger relationship with God. This season we will be praying and asking for our Blessed Mother's intercession as we seek the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance from God. We will also be praying for your intentions and if you would like us to mention your first name or your family name on the podcast, please submit your prayer request on our website at 54daysofroses.com.

For those who are joining us for the first time, the first 27 days of the Novena are prayed and petition and during this time we will ask God for the grace of peace, patience and perseverance. On days 28 through 54 we will pray in thanksgiving, thanking God for giving us the grace of peace, patience and perseverance and for our personal intentions, even if they have not yet been granted.

Now what happens if you miss a day? In the past I used to say to start again from day one. However, after consulting with a spiritual director and a priest, I've learned that the focus should be on our relationship with God and if you miss a date, simply pick up where you left off and continue praying with us in community. You don't have to start over unless you feel it's necessary for your own spiritual journey.

This Novena is a beautiful way that's going to help you pray the Rosary daily. We're starting today on August 9th and ending on October 1st, which leads perfectly into the month of the Rosary. On tomorrow's episode, I will go into more details about why Season 11 is dedicated to praying for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance.
