S11 Day 12: Luminous Mysteries in Petition

Hello Family,
Welcome back to day 12 of our 54-day Rosary Novena. I'm your host, Maritza Mendez, and I’m so happy that you are here to pray with all of us on the podcast. A warm welcome to everyone who is joining us for the first time.

Before we begin our rosary, I’d like to reflect on the Eucharist, the source and summit of our Catholic faith. The Eucharist is not just a symbol; it is the real presence of Jesus Christ—His Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—given to us as spiritual nourishment. Through the Eucharist, we enter into a deep communion with Christ, which strengthens and sustains our faith.
It’s essential to remember that the Eucharist is reserved for baptized Catholics in a state of grace. This means receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation if we are conscious of any grave sin before approaching the altar. This sacred practice helps us unite more fully with Christ in the Eucharist.

Perseverance in our spiritual lives can be challenging. We face trials and moments of doubt, but the Eucharist provides the grace and strength to continue in our aith. Every time we receive Communion, Christ empowers us to overcome obstacles and stay the course in our faith.
As we pray today, I invite you to reflect: How can I let the Eucharist be my source of strength and perseverance? How can I embrace the grace Christ offers me through this sacrament?

Let us ask our Blessed Mother to intercede for us, that we may always draw closer to her Son through the gift of the Eucharist.

Day 12 - Luminous Mysteries in Petition.
Today, on day 12, we’re praying the Luminous Mysteries in Petition.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we pray for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We humbly request your intercession, lifting up the special intentions that reside within our hearts.

Blessed Mother, we pray for those seeking residency, for those seeking clarity in their vocation, for those who seek the grace to become Catholic, for those recovering from accidents, for those battling cancer, and for those in abusive relationships.

We pray for our family’s intentions here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram, and YouTube. We pray for Eniye, the Okoye family, the Youdeowei family, the soul of Soluchi, Keleigh, Razi, Gabriella, Margie, Matthew, Daniel, Madison, Ofelia, Lynda, Mary Jane, Myriam, Christy, Fedela, Ezra, Anthony, Lucas, Michael, Carmen, Sarah, Randia, Mia, Sandra, Arianna, Kelly, Katherine, Rachel, Will, Cece, Colin, Mary Cynthia, Kay, Gerard, Stacey, Corrie, Justin, Terry, Elizabeth, Tim, Yolanda, Christian, Louie, Arisa, Therese, John Paul, Julia, Amelita, Portia, Mel, Holly, Eva, and Gavin.
