S11 Day 14: Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition

Hello family!
And welcome back to day 14 of our 54 day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez and I'm very happy that you're here to pray with all of us on the podcast. If you're joining for the first time, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Family today on August 22nd, we celebrate the feast of the Queenship of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is a beautiful feast a  week after the Assumption, and this is a time when we honor Mary as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. We recognize Mary as the Queen Mother in Heaven, and the Queenship of Mary highlights her ongoing intercession for humanity and her place of honor as the Mother of Christ.

While the assumption focuses on Mary being taken up into heaven, the Queenship emphasizes her status in heaven as Queen, reigning alongside Her son, Jesus. It is a powerful reminder of the special role that Mary plays in our lives, guiding us with her motherly love and interceding for us before God.

Day 14 - Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition
Family, today on day 14, we're praying the sorrowful mysteries in petition. As we meditate on these mysteries, let us turn to Mary, our Queen, and ask for her powerful intercession in our lives.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we pray for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We humbly request your intercession, lifting up the special intentions that reside within our heart.

Blessed Mother, we pray for those seeking a new permanent job, for guidance and discernment, protection and guidance for future marriages, for healing from cancer and other serious medical conditions. We also lift up those who are recovering from surgery, those desiring to meet their future spouse, and those praying for their husbands to return to the faith.

We ask for relief from financial burdens, mental health challenges, and direction in life. We pray for those seeking to conceive, for families in need of healing, and for those suffering from eating disorders, cancer, dementia, or pain of divorce. We ask for blessings on marriages, children, for success in academics, for peace, love, good health. We pray for deliverance from evil. We specially pray for those who wish to return to the Catholic faith.

Blessed Mother, we pray for Anne, Angel, Anthony, Ashley, Catherine, Cecilia, Crystal, Detola, Diane, Dolores, Elena, Flora, Gabby, Gregorita, Isadora, Jess, Josef, Joseph, Josephine, Katie, Lyndsay, Maria, Maryanne, Maryellen, Michele, Paschal, Patty, Patience, Raymond, Rita, Samsom, Stephanie, Theresa, Tracy, and Tsola.
