S11 Day 16: Luminous Mysteries in Petition

Hello family!
And welcome back to day 16 of our 54 day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez, thank you for joining us in prayer today. For those who are joining for the very first time, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Today I want to take a moment to reflect on the grace of gratitude and the importance of embracing God's will in our life. Each day we're given the opportunity to seek God's hand at work, even in the most unexpected and challenging moments. These are the times when we're called to trust in His divine plan, knowing that His will is always in our best interest, even when we don't immediately understand it.

By practicing gratitude, we open our hearts to see the blessings hidden in every situation, aligning ourselves more closely with God's will.

This week I experienced a small challenge when I got a flat tire on my way to pick up lunch. Instead of reacting with frustration, I paused and I thank God. This could have easily happened in the freeway, but instead it happened just 4 minutes away from a tire repair shop. This situation reminded me that God's will is always for good even when things seem inconvenient at first. By practicing gratitude, we can better see his hand at work in our lives, trusting that he is guiding us in every moment.

Day 16 - Luminous Mysteries in Petition
Family, today on day 16, we're praying the luminous mysteries in petition.

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we pray for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We humbly request your intercession, lifting up the special intentions that reside within our hearts.

Blessed Mother, on the feast day of St. Bartholomew we pray for all tailors, for those working in the apparel industry, for farmers and those working in construction.

Blessed Mother, we pray for the intentions of our family here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram, and YouTube. And we pray for the intentions of Anabel, Ambrose, Aidan, Angie, Annemarie, Anna, Carmen, Charles, Clementina, Crissy, Crispina, Cyruk, Deborah, Drexel, Eden, Elna, Florentina, Gerardo, George, Ivan, Janet, Jane, Jeremiah, Josina, Juan, Kathleen, Kiara, Matilda, Maxie, Melissa, Michelle, Nibin, Ofelia, Otieno, Petito, the Rodriguez family, Teresa, Tony, Veronica, Vincent, Yolanda, and Zenice.

Let us begin our rosary prayer.

With love,
Maritza Mendez.
