S11 Day 2: Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition
Hello Family,
Welcome to day 2 of our 54 Days Rosary Novena. I’m so glad you’re here with us. Today, I want to share a bit about why we’ve chosen peace, patience, and perseverance as our focus for Season 11.
In the past couple of months, I have prayed for peace as my personal intention. I thought maybe this could be the intention for this season. At first, I hesitated to choose peace as our intention, since we’ve prayed for World peace before on Season 2. But as I reflected on it, I realized how crucial it is to seek inner peace. It’s not just about the absence of conflict but about finding calm and trust in our own hearts.
Recently, while hiking and seeking clarity, I prayed for guidance on what our focus should be. I wondered if peace was still relevant, and as I finished my hike, I came across a man who was fishing near the lake. We shared a smile, and I asked if he had caught any fish. He smiled and said, "no, but I found some peace." That moment felt like a direct answer from God, affirming that inner peace is something many of us need and should pray for.
Peace, patience, and perseverance are interconnected. Peace helps us stay calm and trust in God’s plan, while patience allows us to wait gracefully for His timing, and perseverance gives us the strength to keep going despite the challenges. Together, they help us navigate life’s ups and downs with a steady heart.
As Catholics, our prayers are a way to connect deeply with God, and align ourselves with His will. By focusing on these virtues, we’re inviting God into our struggles, asking for His help to handle our trials with peace, patience, and perseverance.
Family, I'm super excited to be praying with you this season. if you would like us to pray for you, and mention your first name or your family name on the podcast, please submit your prayer request on our website at 54daysofroses.com
