S11 Day 28: Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving

Hello family!
Welcome back to day 28 of our 54-day Rosary Novena. I'm your host Maritza Mendez. Thank you so much for joining us in prayer today. And if you're joining for the very first time, welcome to this beautiful family of prayer.

Today we're starting our prayers in Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for joining us in prayer today. It’s a special day, not just because we’re continuing our beautiful novena together, but also because today is September 5th, the International Day of Charity. It’s a day that reminds us of the importance of charitable acts, generosity, and serving others—values that are deeply rooted in our Christian faith.

As followers of Christ, we’re called to love and help those in need, just as He did. And who better to exemplify this than Mother Teresa, whose life was a testament to selfless service and compassion for the poorest of the poor.

Today is also my birthday, and if you’d like to celebrate with me, I humbly ask that you consider making a donation to support our podcast. Your contributions help us keep spreading the love of the Rosary and reaching more people who need prayer and spiritual support. Every little bit counts, and your generosity is greatly appreciated.

Day 28: Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving
Today, on day 28, we’re praying the Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving

Blessed Mother, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary, be with us in our prayers as we pray for the grace of peace, patience, and perseverance. We give you thanks.

Blessed Mother, on the feast day of Saint Teresa of Calcutta, we pray for the grace to serve others with love and humility, following her example.

Blessed Mother, we pray for those seeking healing and reconciliation in their lives, for the success and discernment of vocations, and for the conversion of our loved ones who are far from the faith. We ask for guidance in navigating life’s challenges, whether it be finding a spouse, pursuing a vocation, or overcoming financial and health difficulties. We also pray for peace, especially for those struggling with mental health and difficult family situations. May your intercession bring comfort and hope to all who are suffering and seeking God’s grace.

Blessed Mother, we pray for our family's intentions here on the podcast, intentions received by email, Instagram, and YouTube. We pray for the intentions of Ada, Addison, Alex, Allison, Angie, Anne, Anna, Bernadette, Chris, Christy, Claire, Cynthia, David, Elise, Evan, Flora, Gerald, Gorge, Gore Family, Hazel, Janice, Jeffrey, Jen, JoAnn, Jodi, Joseph, Josephine, Joshua, Kari, Kathleen, Kathryn, Krystyna, Laura, Leticia, Leo, Loretta, Lovejoy's family, Lydia, Lyndsy, Maria, Marlene, Maryanne, Matt, Megan, Michael, Nick, Nina, Paige, Patricia, Penny, Peter, Priscilla, Rayan, Rob, Rocco, Sara, Silvia, Stephany, Teague, Theresa, Theo, Thomas, Tom, Traci, Williams family, and Wisnu.

With love,
Maritza Mendez.
