S12 Day 36 - Luminous Mysteries in Thanksgiving
Hello family, and welcome to day 36 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena. Thank you so much for being with us today.
Today, we’re reflecting on The Joy of the Lord—a joy that runs deeper than our circumstances. In this fifth week of Lent, we’re reminded that even in suffering or uncertainty, we can find strength and peace in Christ.
In today’s reading, we see great courage in the face of danger. Even in the fire, God didn’t leave His people alone—He sent His angel. That’s the joy of the Lord: knowing we are never alone, even in our hardest moments.
This is the kind of joy that Lent leads us toward—not surface-level happiness, but a deep confidence in God’s presence and His love.
I also want to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has responded to the podcast questionnaire! It’s been so meaningful to read your feedback and see where you're joining us from. If you haven’t filled it out yet, you’ll find the link in today’s show notes and in the daily email. It only takes a few minutes and helps me continue improving this space for our prayer family.
You’ve shared some amazing ideas—like wanting more interviews, conversion stories, saint reflections, and year-round prayer resources. I hear you, and I’m working on it!
Today we also honor St. Casilda of Toledo, a woman who found deep joy in her conversion and in serving the sick and the poor. Her life reminds us that when we root our hearts in Christ, true joy always follows.
Let’s begin today’s Rosary.
