Hello, family! Welcome back. Today is Day 4 of our 54-day Rosary Novena.
Let’s talk about fasting. When we hear that word, we usually think of giving up food. But fasting is so much more than that. It’s about making room for God. It’s about letting go of anything that keeps us from fully embracing His presence—whether that’s distractions, unhealthy habits, or even the words we speak.
True fasting isn’t just about what we give up; it’s about what we allow in—peace, grace, and a heart open to His will.
That’s where the Rosary comes in. Every bead invites us to slow down, reflect, and discipline our hearts and minds. The Rosary helps us build perseverance, just like fasting does. When we sit in prayer, choosing to turn away from the noise of the world, we’re fasting from everything that pulls us away from God. And that’s a powerful sacrifice.
Lent is a time of renewal, a chance to repair what’s broken in our lives. But transformation doesn’t happen without effort.
So, here’s a question for you: What small sacrifice can you offer today? Maybe it’s choosing prayer instead of scrolling through your phone. Maybe it’s holding your tongue when you feel tempted to complain.
Whatever it is, offer it with love. Because even the smallest acts of surrender bring us closer to Him.
