Day 9: Glorious Mysteries in Petition
Hello Family!
This is day 9 of our 54-day Rosary Novena. Today we'll complete our first Novena in Petition.
About the Novena:
On our first day, I should have provided some background on the Novena. So I'll do that now for those that are new to the podcast.
In the late 19th Century in Naples, Italy, Our Blessed Mother appeared to a young girl, Fortuna Agrelli, suffering from an incurable illness. Mary appeared to Fortuna and promised her healing if she prayed three novenas. The young girl prayed three novenas and was miraculously healed. Mary once more appeared to the young girl and said, "whoever desires to obtain favors from Me should make three novenas of the prayers of the Rosary, and three novenas in thanksgiving". These six novenas of the Rosaries became known as the 54 day-Rosary Novena.
The 54-day Novena is not a Genie that will grant your wishes. It's not about saying the prayers in the right order or at the same time of the day.
What's important about the 54-day Novena is that we give our hearts to God. We do this by praying the Rosary and meditating on the life of Jesus, and we ask Mary to pray with us too.

Day 9: Glorious Mysteries in Petition
With that, let's get started; today, We're praying the Glorious Mysteries in Petition. Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, we ask for your intercession with your Son, Jesus, Our Lord, as we pray for Mental Health.
Blessed Mother, we pray for the protection of the Catholic Church throughout the world.
We pray for Pope Francis, Our bishops, Cardinals, Priest, Nuns, Deacons, and the clergy. Finally, we pray for the vocation of all seminarians and religious.
Blessed Mother, we pray for the intentions that we hold deep in our hearts. Especially for the intentions of everyone listening and praying this Rosary, for our family on Instagram, on Clubhouse, and we pray for the intentions of Taylor, Colleen, Korlt, Mary Katherine, Isabella, J.J.Kelch, Susie, Katty, Dani, Chelsea, Jose, Ruthie, Natalie, & Adriana
