S8 Day 2: Sorrowful Mysteries in Petition

Hello Family

Welcome back! This is day 2 of our 54-Day Rosary Novena.

Every season of the podcast has brought many Blessings and Graces. But With each season our Blessed Mother has brought me closer to her Son.

At the end of season 7, in which the intention was to ask Our Blessed Mother to pray for us and to help us come closer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I felt a struggle as if I was pulling away from God. or as if there were different sides of me; The Maritza who prays and is trying to build a relationship with God, The Maritza from the Podcast, then there's the Maritza at Work, and a different Maritza with Friends and Family.

Clearly, I was struggling to have Jesus as the center of my life and I didn't want to pull away. So as soon as the season was over I started attending daily mass for about two months.  Attending daily mass and coming to Jesus in the sacrament of the Eucharist has drawn me closer to Him. Its help me unite every side of me and to have God as the center of my life, and it has been healing in so many ways. Through daily mass, I was inspired to dedicate season 8 to the Eucharist, To Live and to Celebrate in our daily life Jesus in the Eucharist.

If we need to go to confession first, then we go confess. 

Jesus wants to heal us and draw us closer to him. Receiving him in the Eucharist is the greatest way we come closer to Him.

Jesus heals us, then has us come to him in the sacrament of his own body sacrificed for us on the cross.
